Our story universe
Meet Bel & Viti
One young woman. One ordinary cat. And a dream world with a familiar face.
Bel — the heart of the stories
Bel is curious, funny, thoughtful and wonderfully imperfect. She works, makes mistakes, falls in love, worries about her future and sometimes struggles to say what she means. She narrates the moments that shape her life in a warm, personal voice.
Her stories aren't about having all the answers. They're about being human enough to ask better questions.
Viti — a perfectly ordinary cat
Viti is Bel's large striped tabby cat, with yellow eyes and a small nick in his left ear. At home he naps, begs for dinner, knocks into things and walks over her keyboard. He never speaks or gives advice in waking life. He's a cat.
The cat in the dreams
When Bel falls asleep in her bed, she sometimes dreams of a cat who looks exactly like Viti. That cat speaks. He is witty and thoughtful, and he challenges Bel with honest questions. He never pretends to know what he cannot know. He separates evidence from fear, fact from speculation and comfort from truth.
Is he Viti? Is he a voice inside Bel's own mind? The stories leave the mystery open.
What Belstory believes
Life can be strange, funny, unfair and beautiful. Good stories don't need a perfect hero or a magical solution. They need recognizable feelings, believable decisions and a little courage to face the truth.
Belstory is an original fictional storytelling series. Its characters and events are fictional unless otherwise stated; the dream cat's ideas aim to be thoughtful and intellectually honest, not professional advice.
